Your electric comes from what your solar electric system produces until your usage becomes greater then you are producing.  At which time your electric is then supplied by your local utility.  When neither of these systems is producing your electric, your inverter takes over and uses DC electric stored in your batteries to provide you with AC electric.

The Grid-Interactive system with batteries allows you to keep some or all of your electric loads like lights, refrigerator, well pump, or computer running even when utility power outages occur.  You could also use efficient DC lighting directly from your battery bank.

Many homeowners have chosen to install a grid-interactive system with battery backup. Incorporating batteries into the system requires more components, is more expensive, and lowers the system’s overall efficiency. But for many homeowners who regularly experience utility outages or have critical electrical loads, having a backup energy source is priceless.

When making a  purchase from this site, shipping  charges are normally included when placing your order.. 
On some large items such as appliances, batteries, etc. the shipping and possibly crating fees may be extra.  These items are noted by an * at the end of the Part Number. 
In such case, you will be notified of the extra charges, which need to be paid prior to shipping.
